Astelia Drive is located within walking distance to the golf course and local walks. The proposed new 4,500m² section will be a largely flat and rectangular in shape in a quiet cul de sac, and set within boundary hedging and a park like surroundings, with the current owners’ quality home and land adjacent but easily screened.
It is proposed that a quality ‘post and rail’ fence will be built to define the northern boundary and that access be provided off the existing owner’s driveway beside the western boundary onto the section. The owners’ section already has a had some planting between it and the proposed subdivided section on the section’s north side.
Large flat sections such as these are uncommon and becoming increasingly difficult to find – especially within the established parts of Omokoroa.
The section lays nicely longways from east to west. This provides several options for a building platform that would take in maximum face to the north for great sun. The majority of the site is flat with a small area of land approx. 500m² that falls over a bank to a flat area below on the eastern boundary. This could be planted for ease of maintenance with low growing shrubs or vegetation to maintain the existing window of view across the adjacent land and view to the north east.
This land represents a quality section for someone wanting more privacy and space.
It has the added advantage of a two-bay high-stud shed for storage for a boat or other vehicles and equipment. The property would ideally suit a retiring farmer or someone wanting space while still maintaining a prime position within a short drive to the local conveniences of the supermarket and other Omokoroa facilities.
